Southern Housing Group, one of the largest housing associations in the south of England, has announced that it has appointed Chris Harris as its new Group Customer Services Director.
Chris has a strong background in customer experience and service transformation, having worked for a number of g15 associations, including Catalyst Housing and most recently Genesis Housing Group. While there, he launched service improvement projects around performance and culture, a process he will also take on in his new role.
Chris will lead the Customer Services Directorate at the Group as it grows and modernises its services. With a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service, he will also ensure that the Group meets its customers’ digital needs.
As a member of the Group’s executive team, Chris will also play a key role in shaping the wider business and he now manages the team that provides customer, property, and residential services, along with community, financial and employment and training support to a huge wide range of people.

Chris also said that he was keen to grow and develop the services the Group offers.
