Resident Panels continue to explore a range of topics
Our regional Resident Services Panels (RSPs) meet quarterly to scrutinise key areas of service area delivered to residents.
Topics discussed last quarter included:
South region - the responsibilities and performance of the local resident services teams.
London region - the 2014 Group strategy and its implications for the region, with particular attention to the challenges presented by the changes to the external environment.
Thames Gateway region - Housing for Older People and understanding the difference in the roles of regional staff and support providers.
Isle of Wight region - Anti-Social Behaviour and understanding legal and financial constraints.
Members have said that this new, in-depth approach to scrutinising our services has provided them with a better understanding of how the Group operates while improving staff’s understanding of residents’ opinions.
The next meetings in February will focus on Anti-Social Behaviour, Service Charges and Lettings.
