About this role:
This 12 week full time voluntary trainee position will give you the opportunity to work alongside an experienced administrator. You’ll gain experience of working and communicating as part of a team, and an understanding of how work is allocated and carried out in line with Southern Housing Group’s policies and procedures. You’ll have direct contact with customers and will be carrying out administrative tasks with support from a supervisor.
This role may lead to an AQA qualification if you'd like to pursue a career in this field.
What would you be responsible for
Shadowing an experienced administrator
Logging repairs and ensuring they are dealt with efficiently and effectively
Carrying out basic administrative tasks i.e. email, organising and maintaining records and files, photocopying, sorting and distributing mail and minute taking
Supporting colleagues within the team to carry out administrative tasks
What you need to know:
You will need to be aged 16 or over.
Skills and experience needed:
Good customer service skills
An understanding of customers’ needs
Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn
